INJECTABLES

Complimentary Consultation

At Weeks Family Medicine our aesthetics team offers complimentary comprehensive consultations. The consultation allows for our team to hear our patients’ concerns, assess, and create a comprehensive treatment plan.

Neuromodulators

Neuromodulators (neurotoxins) such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are FDA approved injectables that can be used to cosmetically treat dynamic signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles that are a result of muscle contractions. Other common off-label uses for neurotoxins include correction of gummy smile, excessive sweating, chin dimpling, TMJ, and to slim the jawline. Onset of the medication can vary, but generally take effect within two weeks after injection. Results may vary, but generally last 3-4 months.

Dermal Fillers

Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers can be used to add or maintain volume, hydration, and improve facial symmetry. HA dermal filler options at Weeks Family Medicine include products from RHA, Juvéderm, and Restylane. The injectable treatment offers a noninvasive option to enhance and maintain beauty. Dermal filler is commonly placed in areas such as lips, cheeks, jawline, under eye (tear trough), around the nose (nasolabial folds), and mouth (marionette lines). Duration of results can vary depending on the product used, areas being treated, and the patient’s own personal factors. Common results last from 6 months to 2 years.
