Routine Health Exams
Seeing the doctor doesn’t always have to happen when you or your family member is feeling ill; we would like to see you before there are issues. We spend a fair amount of time discussing wellness strategies and prevention at Weeks Family Medicine. We can schedule you and every member of your family for yearly exams, sports physicals, etc.

We are proud to offer prenatal/obstetrical care. Unlike obstetrical groups, Dr. Weeks will be here for you before you conceive, throughout your pregnancy and in your delivery room kindly asking you to push in ten second intervals until your sweet little baby makes his/her grand entrance in to the world. Should you need a Cesarean; Dr. Weeks will consult and assist a surgeon from East Cascades Women’s Group with your surgery. You and your baby will be under Dr. Weeks’ care throughout your hospital stay.
Non-Stress tests are performed here in the office and allow Dr. Weeks to monitor contractions and check on your baby.
Dr. Weeks has more than 20 years of experience performing vasectomies. We understand that most men are apprehensive about having anything sharp in “that area” so we take every opportunity to make it as comfortable as possible. We devote an entire appointment to answering any questions or concerns that you might have regarding the surgery and after-care. In some situations, a gentle sedative may be prescribed to alleviate day-of surgery anxiety.
While most children need only see a medical provider when they require a routine health exam or vaccinations, there are times when a cold lasts a little too long or a fall on the playground requires a few stitches; maybe even as cast. We’re here for that!
We typically leave a few appointments available on the schedule for “urgent visits”. So if you need to get in right away—and dread the wait (and cost) of going to the Emergency Room—give us a call.
If you decide that this procedure is right for your little man, we encourage you to schedule this to be done at your infant’s two week check –up. Dr. Weeks recommends waiting to have it done at this appointment rather than in the hospital immediately after birth so that your baby’s first few transitional days can be devoted to bonding with his new family, working out any breastfeeding issues and simply adjusting to his new environment.
Suspicious moles, unsightly warts and many skin disorders do not always require a trip to a dermatologist. We have the ability remove, biopsy and treat most conditions or lesions right here in our office. We send specimens to St. Charles Medical Center Laboratory for pathological review.
Travel Medicine and Vaccines
If you’re planning a trip to a foreign country, chances are you’ll need a few vaccines to keep you healthy while abroad. Kirsten Heron PA-C is one of only a handful of providers in Central Oregon with the capability to provide Yellow Fever Vaccination to travelers. She offers comprehensive travel consultations and administers: Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Polio, Hepatitis A and B, and Meningitis vaccines as well as prescriptions for Malaria prophylaxis.
Our Medical Assistants are skilled phlebotomists offering the convenience and ease of having blood drawn immediately before or after your appointment. Additionally, we have the capability to perform: Rapid Strep, Mononucleosis, Urine Pregnancy, Cholesterol, Hemoglobin A1C and Liver Function (AST, ALT) testing in office; often providing you with results within five minutes.
We currently utilize St. Charles Medical Center Laboratory for all of our laboratory processing.
Massage Therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues to relieve muscle tension, stiffness, back pain and can include other healing benefits.
Acupuncture is one of the main forms of treatment in traditional Chinese medicine. It involves the use of thin needles that are inserted in the body at very specific points. This process is believed to adjust and alter the body’s energy flow into healthier patterns and is used to treat a wide variety of illnesses and health conditions.
Behavioral Health Counseling
Diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional and behavioral health problems ranging from mild to severe.
Dental Screenings & Sealants
Dental screenings are performed by a dental hygienist to check for cavities, gum disease or other oral ailments. Sealants are offered to help prevent teeth from decay.
(Commercial Driver’s License) A physical exam is performed to check overall health and wellness to qualify an individual for driving commercial vehicles.
